It all makes sense now!
Oh look Something Boehner said that I can finally agree on.
House Speaker John Boehner couldn’t hold back when he spotted Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the White House lobby last Friday. John Boehner delivered a sharp response to Harry Reid, who last week accused the House speaker of running “dictatorship.” The top Republican reportedly told the top Senate Democrat, “Go f— yourself.”
“What are you talking about?” Reid replied, at the White House.
“Go f— yourself,” Boehner repeated.
How many politicians does it take to screw up an economy? One. No, two. Wait, let me think about this some more — how about 535, as in 435 House member plus 100 Senators.Hold on, I forgot to include President Obama. Can you give me a couple more weeks to answer?
What is happening in Washington right now is a joke — and a badly constructed one at that. Obama proved that yesterday afternoon by going in front of reporters at a White House press conference — all smiley and flip — despite the fact that serious negotiations were supposed to be going about the financial fate of our country.
The agreement, as it was being reported as I’m writing, won’t address any cuts in expenditures, but it will increase taxes on enough people — those married folks with incomes supposedly more than $450,000 a year, for instance — to allow our leaders to say they did something without really doing anything.Just back from their ill-deserved Christmas break, our leaders spent yesterday trying to cobble together a last minute, half-assed compromise that’ll keep full-blown tax increases and spending cuts from going into immediate effect. Oops. It turns out as of last night that they really did do nothing. The hard work will be left to the new Congress — which also will eventually decide to do nothing about our financial problems.
But Washington will be forced to increase the nation’s debt limit in the very near future. And the finger-pointing that will go with that discussion will cause more problems.
Meanwhile, our nation’s $16 trillion-plus debt level will continue to rise, and tax receipts paid to the government will probably decline thanks to the fear instilled in consumers and businesses by the so-called “fiscal cliff” and debt-limit negotiations.
This year’s federal deficit probably won’t be improved one nickel. Nice work, guys!
Three things will get Washington’s attention, and I hope all of them don’t happen at the same time.
Lets say you are coming home from a long day at work. When you arrive at your drive way, you have noticed that your sewage pipe has broke. You look around and see that it has flooded your yard and home all the way up to your roof. What would you do? Raise the ceiling OR Take the shit out?
Look, hating taxes is as American as it gets. (Boston Tea Party, anyone?) Furthermore, we know that letting people keep more of their hard earn money they earn yields bigger federal revenue in the end. John F Kennedy and Ronald Reagan proved that. But big-government, tax-and-spend progressives don’t believe that. They believe increasing taxes on citizens, particularly those who earn the most, is a valor act of patriotism. That’s fine. Then let them self-impose higher tax rates on themselves. After all, aren’t liberals the ones always talking about the importance of “sacrificing for the good of the community” and the importance of “spreading the wealth around”? Then let them.
But they don’t and they won’t. Why? Because their all hypocrites.
President Barack Obama argued Tuesday the “most important thing” to be done for national security is for Republicans to cave on tax hikes and stop obstructing the president’s agenda.”
Jamie “Obama is our Lord and Savior” Foxx is at it again, touting his new movie Django Unchained, where he gushes that he gets to “kill all the white people…How great is that?” Apparently pretty great by his enthusiasm and the audience’s reaction. Why not break out into the New Black Panther’s soliloquy of “kill all the crackers!”
This is the elite of our media? Kind of makes one sick…lets egg on this race war and Go watch the movie. Put your cash in his bank roll……..

In his first press conference since being elected to a second term, Pres. Barack Obama told the White House press corps on Wednesday that he will begin the process in Congress for a mass amnesty bill very soon after his inauguration. Pres. Obama said the bill would offer amnesty to the 11 million illegal aliens living in the United States, requiring them to pay fines and back taxes. Pres. Obama cited the Hispanic turnout during last week’s election as his motivation for moving immigration up on his list of agenda items.
