The importance of a “traditional family” on kids. By: ME! EDDY:)

The family and marriage debate is cut and dry, the best environment for a child to grow up is in a family with a happily married mom and a dad. And the more families like this one, the better of the community is as a whole. Crime rate, for example is a direct correlation to family structure within a household. As this should seem common sense through past experience, many people like to disagree. For all you folks that can’t seem to wrap your head around this, lets get to the cold hard facts. In a study of about 6000 young men ages 14-22, it was found that boys who grew up in a household without a married mother and father were twice as likely to end up in jail compared to their happily married family counterpart. This even stayed true when taken into context of family history, income and race. Other studies have even shown that broken homes within a community increased the delinquency level within the community by a staggering 10-15%! And the distribution of households with only one parent better calculate the amount of burglary and violent crimes within that community than a community’s level of poverty. But let’s put it in a different perspective. If a teenage boy who grew up in a strong family within a good neighborhood found himself in a predicament, would be less likely to physically fight his way out than a boy from a strong family or a good neighborhood but not from both. Having said all of that, I would like to add that there are many kids that grow up to be wonderful people that were raised in a single parent home. However the risk of that child is just more likely in a single parent home than one with both spouses. Consequently the divorce rate in America is higher than any other nation in the world, and the detachment of a father can lead to many of the hardships found in their children listed above. In a divorced family only one child of every six claim that they see their father more than once a week. However ten years after a divorce, two thirds of those same children claim that they haven’t seen their father more than once a year. Its like the old saying, “Every decision has a consequence”  and it holds true here - for you and for your child. Traditional marriage matters because children matter. One might say the youth is our greatest natural resource. And quite frankly there is no better investment for the youths future than a traditional healthy marriage. When children live with parents who love each other, sacrifice and commit for each other, they are given a real head start in life. A study analyzing over a million kids ages 1-4  living outside of a traditional marriage are at greater risk from dying by an injury. Children living outside of a mom and a dad environment are twice as likely to suffer from physical, emotional, or educational neglect. This results in poorer grades and nearly two times more likely to use illegal drugs. All of this is really why there shouldn’t be a “family” debate, no “marriage” debate. The social science evidence and common sense have clearly stated that for a better future and the well being of our greatest natural resource is what we have been doing for million of years. Liberals try to coerce you in with propaganda and sweet words stating “Equal rights, If it doesn’t hurt you then who cares.” and that’s it, it does hurt me, our society and the future America.

A little bit on the Second Amendment…. Because somehow it confuses quite a few people.?..

The Second Amendment says:

-A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the Right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The second amendment guarantees the Right of “the people” to keep and bear arms. The Right to bear arms is a Right of “the people”, it is not a Right of “the State” and it is not a Right of “the Militia”. The founders knew the difference between the people, the state and the militia, and they stipulated that the Right to bear arms is a Right of “the people”.

We know that there are those in this country who do not want the people to have guns. We accept that there are conservatives who do not have or like guns. The second amendment does not require anyone to like guns nor does it compel anyone to own a gun. The second amendment compels the government to not infringe upon the Right of the people to have guns.

IMPORTANT: If you want to ban guns you can do so by amending the Constitution. While most conservatives would not support that ban, they would support the Right to try and amend. If sufficient people wanted to do so, the second amendment can be removed or altered.

Remember: the Right to amend is a Constitutional provision. Our point is that the Constitution must not be changed by courts or lawmakers who circumvent the amending process.

The point of these examples is simple. Constitutional law can be amended through the process provided for in the Constitution. Laws are to be made by lawmakers, and those laws are not to violate the laws of the Constitution. Laws, Constitutional or other otherwise, are not to be modified by the courts

Why I am conservative part #3

Instead of making a video today on why I am conservative, I am just going to right it down sense its really straight forward:)

I (Conservatives) believe that The Bill of Rights Limits Government, NOT the People

Each of the first 10 amendments to the Constitution places limits on the government, NOT the people. The Bill of Rights identifies and specifies the Rights of the people; Rights which the government is NOT to infringe upon.

Despite this, the government and courts have routinely chipping away at those Rights with the intent and impact of taking those Rights from the people.

Human foot mailed to Canada Conservative party HQ

A human hand was found at a mail sorting depot in Canada’s capital on Tuesday night, just hours after a foot was delivered to the country’s Conservative party headquarters.

The discovery came on the same day a janitor in Montreal found a rotting human torso in a suitcase, although police said it was too early to connect the cases.

“It’s just awful,” Conservative MP Brad Trost told the Ottawa Citizen newspaper, adding: “I don’t think any of us are thinking this necessarily has anything to do with politics.”

A party worker opened a blood-stained box containing the foot at the office in Ottawa’s Albert St. – near Parliament Hill - before calling police, the newspaper reported.

The Citizen said police later found a human hand at the Ottawa Postal Terminal, which handles all of the city’s mail. It said the package was not destined for the Conservative Party of Canada but police wouldn’t say where it was to be sent.

“Trying to get America’s economy moving in the right direction without a strong focus on God, Family, Freedom and Morality (aka….the ‘social issues’) is like trying to ride a bicycle with no tires……you can sit on it, turn it lots of different directions and say vroom…vroom…vroom, but in the end you’re not gonna go anywhere.”
