“I think he's a total flake.”
-Anonymous

To clarify you think Paul Ryan is a total flake? Could you elaborate? But also take into context that changing views is not really flaking sometimes but growing as a person a learning about yourself a little more. I mean if you still had the same views as you did in the past, you would still find disgust in the opposite sex and think that they have micro germs called cooties that are contagious and fatal.:)

“Your country is not going anywhere since your politics is always a battle between republicans and liberals”

My country does need to have GROWN UP talks on many issues but what would you expect?

Not everyone is going to feel the same way as the other and our political system (which has its flaws) still is the most moral and successful system to date.

Rep. Paul Ryan now supports gay adoption

GOP Rep. Paul Ryan reportedly has changed his views and now says he believes gay couples should be able to adopt children.

Asked at a town-hall-style meeting Monday in Wisconsin about the issue, Ryan said he would “vote differently these days” and still opposes gay marriage. In 1999, the congressman voted in favor of banning same-sex couples in the District of Columbia from adopting.

“I do believe that if there are children who are orphans who do not have a loving person or couple … I think if a person wants to love and raise a child, they ought to be able to do that. Period. I would vote that way,” Ryan says,

Arizona lawmakers pass bill making silver, gold legal tender

he Arizona Senate on Tuesday approved a measure to make gold and silver legal currency in the state, in a response to what backers said was a lack of confidence in the international monetary system. The legislation cleared the Republican-controlled Senate by an 18-10 vote after being approved by the state House earlier this month.

If signed into law, Arizona would become the second state in the nation to establish these precious metals as legal tender. Utah approved such legislation in 2011.

The push to establish gold and silver as currency has become increasingly popular in the United States in recent years among some hardline fiscal conservatives, with the backing of groups including the Tea Party movement, American Principles Project and the Gold Standard Institute.

Keith Weiner, president of the Gold Standard Institute advocacy group and a supporter of the bill, said the legislation was needed to counter what he sees as insolvency in the global monetary system. “The dollar system and all of the other derivative currencies, including the euro, are a recipe for worldwide bankruptcy,” Weiner told lawmakers at an earlier hearing, adding that a “sound and honest money system such as gold and silver” was needed to bring stability.

“I want primaries to start up again. Is that weird?”
“Barack Obama submits a balanced budget. April Fools!”
“Yeah… Um.. So when was marriage a government issue?”

You are Awesome!!!

Keystone and Democrats

resident Obama and the Democratic Senate are continuing their opposition to the expansion of domestic energy production. The President promises a decision by the end of this year on the Keystone pipeline.
He is firmly against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) even though it would be an economic boon and raise significant revenue without hiking taxes.
We need ANWR production because the United States is the most oil-hungry nation in the world.
The ANWR development area is less than 2000 acres and any production would be conducted in a responsible and environmentally safe manner.
On April 17 and 18, 2002, a number of Democratic Senators said they were against ANWR development because it wouldn’t begin to produce oil for up to ten years.

“you are very right on most points, but gotta lose the "republican" side of it man. I don't believe anything this censored media tells us at this point, and we are proven to be at war based completely off of lies. ( don't blame it on the presidents in office at that time) it is something much bigger than that. Your just asking for arguments with (democrats) simply because of the use of the word :P you know how politics are man, i can tell by what ya say. just gotta not label yaself about it :P”

I understand with where you are coming from and I respect it. I do preach a lot that both parties are bought out into the system and great politicians who are really there for the sake of helping there community are very minimal. I believe the rising stars in the liberty movement and other fellow young conservatives are going in the right path! I hold my conservative values over my political party however if I had to align my self I could never be democrat. That party has transformed into something scary (Kinda sorta both parties have) But Democrats have gone so far left that I cant even consider myself remotely a democrat.

In order to to move forward in politics you need mutual respect. That means I have to respect those that I may disagree with but those same people should give me that same respect. So hear me clear, just because I believe that states have the right to define marriage in a constitutional way doesn’t make me a bigot. Just because I believe that life, ALL life no matter what stage, is just as important as the other doesn’t make me delusional.

In fact, the people who are actually closed minded in American politics are the people that loveeee to preach about certainty of science regard to climate but ignore the absolute fact that science has PROVEN that life begins at conception.

…..interesting article from the Mew Yorker…I guess I shouldn’t expect anything , much less then this…..

We have been Warned!

“Now more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption.

If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature…

If the NEXT CENTENNIAL does not find us a great nation…it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”
