first lets start of with a quote. In a 1964 speech Ronald Reagan said“The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.” Barack Obama verified Reagan’s point this morning with five simple words – “the private sector is doing just fine.” I guess “just fine” is in the eye of the beholder.
-At first the Labor Department reported that the economy added 69,000 jobs in May – the lowest amount added in a year. U.S. Unemployment rose in May – the first rise in 11 months – to 8.2 percent.
-8.2 percent unemployment? That’s 23 million American struggling to find work. 23 million American families who are struggling to put food on the table. 23 Million Americans who are unsure of if they will be able to afford their next mortgage payment.
….Barack has had 100 fundraisers. Now this may make Obama seem cool, but I would much rather have a capable president than a cool one…..
-Obama backed up his own point later in the day by saying that we’ve created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months. What Obama didn’t say is that over the last four years the median income has dropped 10 percent and there have been a record amount of home foreclosures. This just goes to show that many of these 4.3 million people are either underemployed or the “recovery” was so slow that they couldn’t save their homes.
-Last month Romney outraised Obama by 16.8 million dollars. His campaign noted that 93 percent of donations received in May were less than $250. Barack Obama responded by tweeting “For the first time inthis campaign, Romney and the GOP raised more than we did last month. Help close the gap
Last June, President Obama appointed Vice President Joe Biden to root out wasteful government spending. But behind the scenes, it’s a different matter.
Every Friday, Biden takes a helicopter designated as Marine Two from the vice president’s residence to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland and then hops on Air Force Two to fly back to his home in Delaware. At the end of the weekend, he returns on Air Force Two, usually a Boeing C-32.
During warm weather, Biden regularly returns to Andrews on the airplane on Saturdays to play golf at the Air Force base with President Obama. After the golf game, he flies back to Delaware and returns to Washington on the plane on Sunday evening — all at taxpayer expense.
The cost of flying Air Force Two is $22,000 an hour, so each half-hour trip to or from Delaware costs about $10,000. Each golf game costs taxpayers $20,000. At that rate, the annual cost to taxpayers of Biden’s weekend trips is well over $1 million.
In addition, the Secret Service rents more than 20 condominiums in the Wilmington, Del. area for agents who must accompany Biden when he returns to his home state.
A startlingly listless President Obama appeared in the White House press room yesterday morning, spoke some dull preliminaries about the European financial crisis — and then slipped and tumbled headfirst into re-election quicksand from which he will find it very difficult to extricate himself.
Now, it is not the case that the president is finished because he said, “The private sector is doing fine” — even though those were the very words he spoke yesterday, the week after a jump in the unemployment rate and a downward revision of the GDP.
It’s just one quote, after all, and a lot can happen in five months. And while it’s inarguably a huge gift to the Romney campaign — one worth approximately three George Clooneys and six Sarah Jessica Parkers — the president’s rival is certainly capable of making blunders that will hand back some of the advantage.
No, “The private sector is doing fine” may prove to be the pivotal moment for the 2012 campaign because of what it demonstrates about the president’s ideas as he heads into the fight of his life.

I also believe that the federal government should get out of peoples love life soo that decision should go back to the people and the state. When I become president that will be my stance:) I dont want to know what you do in your love life and I dont want to pay for your love life. You did the nasty on your own time, you had a mistake on your own time, you pay for it on your own time! (thats my view on contraception btw:)
